The Pragati Scholarship is a government scheme implemented by AICTE aimed at providing assistance for the advancement of girls pursuing technical education. Education empowers women with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate fully in the development process. The scheme awards thousands of scholarships annually to female students across India.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be a girl student admitted to the first year of a Degree/Diploma level course or second year (lateral entry) in an AICTE approved institution

Maximum of two girl children per family can apply

✓

Family income must not exceed ₹8 Lakhs per annum

Application Process

Register and apply on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
Upload all state and institution-level admission documents
The institute will verify the application online before AICTE processes the merit list
