Full Description

The Australia Awards Scholarships are long-term development awards administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. They provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those in the Indo-Pacific region (including India), to undertake full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and TAFE institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Be a minimum of 18 years of age
Be a citizen of a participating country (e.g., India) and residing in and applying from that country
Not be married/engaged to an Australian or New Zealand citizen/permanent resident
Meet the specific admission requirements of the Australian university
Commit to return to the home country for a minimum of two years after completion

Application Process

  1. Check country-specific eligibility on the DFAT website
