Full Description

Ghent University provides Top-up Grants to candidates from countries on the ODA list (which includes India) who wish to obtain a master's degree at Ghent University. The scholarships are available for English-taught master's programs and are designed to top-up the student's own resources to cover living expenses in Belgium.

Allowance of €1,000 per month for living expenses

All-in insurance (health, civil liability, repatriation)

Tuition fee is reduced to the rate paid by EEA students

Eligibility Criteria

✓

National of an ODA-listed developing country (India is eligible)

✓

New student applying for an English-taught master’s degree at Ghent University

✓

Excellent academic track record in the bachelor’s degree

Application Process

You cannot apply directly for the Top-up Grant
Apply for admission to an eligible master’s program at Ghent
Program coordinators nominate the top applicants to the university’s selection committee
The committee awards the grants based on academic merit and the program’s recommendation
