Full Description

HDFC Bank Parivartan’s Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS) Programme aims to support meritorious and needy students belonging to underprivileged sections of society. The scholarship caters to students from Class 1 to postgraduate level who are facing a personal or family crisis that threatens their ability to continue their education.

Benefits

School students: Up to ₹35,000
Undergraduate students: Up to ₹50,000
Postgraduate students: Up to ₹75,000
Funds are meant to cover tuition fees and other educational expenses

Eligibility Criteria

Indian national studying in Class 1 to 12, Diploma, ITI, UG, or PG programs
Must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks
Annual family income must be less than or equal to ₹2.5 Lakhs
Preference is given to those facing a recent family crisis (loss of parent/job)

Previous year's mark sheets
Identity proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/Driving License)
Current year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter)
Applicant's bank passbook
Income proof

Application Process

  1. Apply online through partner portals (like Buddy4Study)
  2. Upload all required documents and submit the application
  3. Document verification and telephonic interviews for shortlisted candidates
  4. Final selection by HDFC Bank management
