Full Description

Schwarzman Scholars is a fully-funded, one-year master’s degree and leadership program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. At the heart of the program are world-renowned advisers, a rigorous and innovative study of global affairs, and hands-on exploration of Chinese culture and commerce. It aims to prepare the next generation of global leaders to respond to the geopolitical landscape of the 21st century.

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited college or university

Aged 18 to 28 years old

Proficiency in the English language

Demonstrated leadership, character, and intellectual ability

Application Process

  1. Submit the online application by the September deadline (for non-Chinese passport holders)
  2. Applications are reviewed by a distinguished committee of global leaders
  3. Shortlisted candidates are invited for panel interviews (conducted in various global hubs or virtually)
  4. Final selection notifications are sent by late November

Important Information

•No prior knowledge of Mandarin is required, though language classes are part of the curriculum.
